Merrick Bank neglects to mail monthly account statements to gain late payment fees and increase interest. Merrick Bank claims to receive payments late or not at all to gain late payment fees and increase interest. Merrick Bank changes it's payment address without notice to claim late or not received payments to gain late fees and increase interest. Merrick Bank employs rude and difficult people. Merrick Bank claims to have a customer service department but will hang up or transfer and transfer to discourage consumers.

Are statements available online? Does Merrick Bank accept online payments?
Utilizing an online payment system supplies the customer with dated payment verification and eliminates the problem of the bank changing the payment address. Then you won't need to call them and deal with the customer support. Easy fix.
