I was initially exposed to this company through an area magazine. The prospect of having my wood floors refinished at about 50% of the price of traditional sanding but without the mess was very appealing, and the 5 year warranty on the finish made it sound even better. I contracted for the service and was initially very pleased as the floors turned out beautifully. However, within a year and 1/2 the finish in areas of any traffic, such as the kitchen wore away. Within the next 6 months, almost the entire refinished area, most of which sees only minimal traffic since I live alone and do not frequently entertain, had chipped and faded away leaving my floors looking about how they were when I contracted for the service. This all occurred even though I had followed all instructions using only cleaning products recommended or sold by the company, and swept the kitchen every evening to keep any grit from wearing the floor. I contacted my franchisee and was told one of her key personnel had an ill father, and she would come within 6 weeks. She failed to do so, and when I called her again, I learned she had gone out of business. I contacted customer service at the parent company and was told they would fix the problem. However, over the course of a month, they failed to respond to any subsequent contacts. I finally reached customer service again and was told that they will not honor the warranty. I consider the product worthless, as I now will have to pay to have the floors traditionally refinished, bringing my cost to 150% of what it should have been. The company is non responsive to complaints and will not honor their warranties. Although the product may initially provide good results, the product does not last. What a rip off
