We had a severe hailstorm on June 12, 2017. My home mortgage is serviced by Nationstar Mortgage, now Mr. Cooper Mortgage. The damages to my home exceeded $47K and the insurance check was sent to Nationstar for their signature. It is now the middle of September 2017 and Nationstar has not released any funds tward the repairs. I have phoned, e-mailed and sent hard letters to no avail. The sent a package which I filled out and now they have sent a different package that includes fees that will be added to my mtg. I have told them this is unacceptable. No responce. It would be my guess that the escrowed funds must be substantial and perhaps a lawsuit is warrented.
