When trying to log into my netspend account, I recieved a pop up that said that for security reasons i needed to change my password. It ask me to enter my credit card information. I was not going to do that on the computer so instead I called the 1800 number on the back of my card. 877-814-7664. I spoke to a male that i could hardly understand and explained to him that i needed to reset my password. he ask for my social and date of birth which i gave him, he asked for my date of birth 2 or three times and then he said thats not the information i have let me change it.. after this he repeated my date of birth and it was wrong i gave him my correct date of birth again and he said your account has been locked let me transfer you. I spoke to another gentleman that was hard to understand and he said that my account was now locked due to security reasons and my information had to be verified and i could not access my money. i am a single mother of three kids and that is the only money i have available. i was pissed and said i verified all of my information, i have had this account for almost a year my paycheck is direct deposited i just used my card this morning take the hold off my account. He said he couldnt and transfered me. After being on the phone for 2 hours i spoke to a supervisor who said there was nothing she could do it was being reiveiwed. I told her WHY was my account put on hold she said for security reasons.. i said what security reasons she could not tell me. she would not transfer me to the review team because they were not taking calls. HOW is it legal for a company to hold YOUR hard owned money hostage and now allow you to get it. she said it could take 3 days for them to put a note on the account and until then i am without MY MONEY!!!   I have no idea how i am going to feed my kids, or get gas for work because they will not give me access to my money due to something thier one of thier untrained reps did and now NO one can help me. HOW IS THIS LEGAL!!!! i want to know what i need to do to sue them. this can not be legal to keep my money
