Nettalk sold me a Nettalk duo and said it would work either with a router or without - plugged directly into the computer (as I am on a hotspot). They provided software that does not work on windows 7. They did not follow up on their support. You have to wait for up to and even more than an hour to talk to anyone, and their email support drops tickets. I paid $70 for the equip plus $30 for the service, and could not make one phone call. A big ripoff.

Steer clear of Nettalk!

Hello,

The netTALK device requires a high speed internet connection just like any other VoIP products

using the internet from a hotspot or mobile device does not deliver the required internet consistency

and percentage of packet delivery to support a live phone call through the internet. even though it is

great for web browsing but when it comes to transmitting voice date it gets a little complicated

we do apologize for the inconvenience but speaking with our tech support agents using satellite internet and/ or hotspot is not recommended with the nettalk device.
