Ntelos SCAM---Won't give me my money!!! Lynchburg Virginia

I had Ntelos for about a year and canceled in November 2007 due to graduating and moving to another city. I received a statement in the mail in February stating that I had a rebate check of $95 and I needed to call and request for where it should be sent. I called and told the guy in customer service that I needed the checked mailed to my new address. This was in February! I never received my check. I called back 3 weeks later in early March and spoke to a woman. She said that my address was never changed. They would have to change my address and resend the check to me. She explained that it would be another 2-3 weeks. I was of course irritated but said ok, I would wait.

Its now the end of April and I called on 4/21/2008 and spoke with a girl named Jessica in customer service. I told her the situation and she put me on hold for 8 minutes came back and said that whoever changed my address the first time, changed it in one place and not the other. She went on to say that they would have to resend the check and it would be another 2 3 weeks. I was shocked.

I asked to speak to her manager. She put me on hold for over 10 minutes and then suddenly the phone went to the survey part of the call. I called right back and spoke with a manager named Christina. I explained the situation to her and she continued to say that all she could do was resend the check and it would be another 2 3 weeks. She said that she could speak to another department that handles the sending of checks operations and that she would be in at 10am on Tuesday 4/22/2008 and would call me at exactly 10:30. It is now after 12pm and I have not received any call from anyone.

I am amazed that something that takes 2 weeks has taken 2 months. I want my check expedited to me and never want to deal with Ntelos again.
