Office Max rebate ripoff Holland Ohio

Office Max had a big floor display of CD-R blank disks and a sign that indicated that with the mail-in rebate, the whole box would be FREE! Like $24.99 coming back! I took them to the front desk, because I noticed that the rebate form was outdated.

The office clerk told me that the company "Prime Peripherals" didn't ship the product to the store in time for the mail out ad, but that they were honoring the rebate "exclusively" with Office Max, and that I should just mail it in like normal.

BIG DUMB MISTAKE! 1st thing is, rebate said 6-10 weeks to get the rebate. 2nd thing was I was dumb enough to fall for the old "slight of hand".

I finally received a card in the mail 9 weeks later that stated info. on rebate was forthcoming.

1 week later, I got a card saying that the rebate was outdated, and they wouldn't pay it!

And there I was! RIPPED OFF! That was the last time Office Max will get a dime of mine! They LOST TOO!
