Oreck ripoff New Orleans Louisiana

I purchased the oreck steam floor cleaner several years ago and had nothing but trouble with it. The company told me that they had a new improved model and sent it to me to replace the other model that I originally purchased from them. I have the same problem with the newer model, It leaks, doesnt pick up the water, and the few times that I have used it, we have to go rent a "rug doctor" to suck up the water. I have written to the corporate office several times, and never hear from them. Customer service tells me my warranty is up. (on the newer model that they sent me in April of last year) By the way, this machine costs $400, and they claim they use it in hotels, which would get plenty of use!! The sad thing is that I first purchased the vacuum cleaner which I have never had a problem with. You will notice, that you dont see the floor steam cleaner advertised anymore!! Its too bad that the people like me were ripped off!!!!
