My truck had a minor miss at low idle so I took it in for a spark plug change.

They took my engine apart and wrenched on my valvetrane without any permission! Now the truck is broken. They don't have the skills to fix it and they demand $1364.00 for the "WORK" they did.

They won't fix the truck and won't let me take it somewhere else to get it fixed properly until they get $1364.00 out of me.

The Service Director is unconcerned and unwilling to sit down to discuss a solution. He is always too busy. Too busy for customer service or problem resolution??? What is his job anyway? I asked how we could resolve the problem. Their response: "Come up here with 1364.00, End of Story". Like I was doing business with the MOB! They will hold your vehicle hostage until you pay the ransom.

A mechanic at another shop told me that it was my Out of State Tags that make the dealership smell blood. They think your stranded away from home and will bend you over the barrel.

Here are just some of the tactics they used to rip me off.

Bait and Switch Game by Service Dept. Quoted me 89.00 for Diagnostic then Charged 300% more. Wrong Diagnosis problem not fixed.

Charged for labor that was both unnecessary and unauthorised.

Charged maximum retail price for parts that were unnecessary and did not fix the problem.

Doesn't provide estimates and won't quote parts until its time to pick your car up then slams you with a huge bill and non-functioning automobile.

Creates more mechanical problems on your vehicle by working on it. They are good at taking it apart ,just don't ask them to put it back together properly.

Ourisman Chevrolet. Steer clear of this trap !!! RipOff!
