I think PayPal should donate all the money they received from their self lucrative system. So many people has felt scammed and ripped off by PayPal due to the many flaws of their own system. It's really difficult to come to understanding the business their in, PayPal's ethics are but of a teenager and/or (excuse my poetry) a greedy individual who lives alone in the world.

One time, I've had to pay $60.00 for a $40.00 despute. That money was taken right out of my account. If I would have known how foolish PayPal is I would have taken that money out, instead I had nothing to hide and left it up to being 'in the right'. Suited well, huh? What is PayPal doing to protect the morality of people ? It might seem like a lousy $20 but living with roomates, seeing my son on weekends, $20 is groceries. How many other people has been ripped of $20? or more? Donate all that money to charity, assholes.

This most recent incident was just so foolish, It definitely has me submiting my story to a few eCommerce blogs.

I met a gentlemen off of craigslist to sell my bike, we've met, he paid through PayPal and I gave him the bike and receipt for his purchase. I gave him a receipt because I read once that a person got his bike taken because he purchased a stolen bike, I ensured his safty and security by giving him a receipt.

After trying to purchase products online during that week if I was purchasing a $25 product, using PayPal, the balance would be $215.00. I thought it was a glitch or something, I checked my PayPal account and seen that the Dispute for $190.00 was almost immediately surfaced after I sold the bike. At first glance I questioned it, then I seen the email account linked to the dispute to reassure me that I've been scammed.

BUT WAIT! before I continue I want to say that I am a part time copywriter, and so I know word play when I see it. It was difficult for me to identify PayPal's request to settle the dispute as word play until AFTER I clicked 'Resolve'. On my request to resolve the dispute I mentioned the scenerio, the receipt, the terms, and in hopes that PayPal would defend me, a PayPal user, and so I clicked Resolve. This was just a form of entrappment, doggy style, because now the money was sent to the claimer and I am now stuck with a negative -$190.00. This makes me very anxious, and it disturbs me everyday that I am in debt -$190.00.

So here's the thing, I got a call from PayPal and they don't eben know why the despute was initiated. I asked, "well, did the gentlemen report his credit card stolen?" and PayPal said they don't know.... What? "what do you mean you don't know? I have a 5 year old son, twin toddler boys, I freelance and work a night shift, and you going to take my money over a claim?? I try my best to be a decent person, what do you mean you've withdrawn $190.00 out of my account after the holidays because a Bank said so??"

I am not condoning this but this is basically what PayPal insinuates:

Find a couple items on craigslist and go shopping for the next week using PayPal. Then go through your bank and dispute those purchses, then the bank will puff their chest and PayPal will shrivel and refund you back... POW FREE S***!

PayPal is a leading company, and shows irresponsibility to Seller Protection. With the increase number of purchases through online (even if the enduser partially transacts offline) the field of eCommerce IS PayPal's specialty. They should have BEEN invested in a full Seller/Buyer protection system, but has not, and only shows to the more awared entrepreneurs, a lazy, self serving, leech of a business, that like almost every other company grows into a monster who eats away ethics and morality of their own and their consumers.

PayPal is a bad name, bad rap. We are looking for another way.

Yours truly,User
