I needed to check possible criminal background for my family's safety. Found Peoplesmart and entered the person's name and city. " RECORDS FOUND" ! Payed 30 dollars, click search and guess what , NOTHING, not one thing. They say they do an extensive search. I then googled the county the person in question lived in and found the Clerk of Courts. Put the name in and bingo, up came everything ....FREE !! How extensive can Peoplesmart be if I could easily find it myself in apparently what is the most likely place for criminal records. I requested a refund, and they said no. It's bait and switch all the way, and a scam. Don't waste your money.
Tip for consumers: Take a little time and you can find most info you need on your own. I was in a hurry and used this site, they are dishonest and taking money for absolutely nothing.

Wow, after two emails with them refusing to refund my money, now they did. I wish they would have done the right thing right off the bat and avoided this, but unfortunately I cannot remove this review. I would like to state though that they DID refund my money, rightfully so, and I am happy about that.
