Caveat emptor.

Five years ago I was talked into buying a holiday package from an agent of Premier Holiday. Throughout the sales process I was mislead. The resort they were selling a timeshare for was at best a two star so we declined the purchase of the timeshare. The agent went to Plan B which is a number of hotel days at a reduced cost and unfortunately I bought it.

The agent indicated there would be no additional charges but there is an annual maintenance fee. To 'close' the deal the agent offered two free holidays to any location my wife and I desired. I was told that I would receive further information once the application was processed, it never came.

Lastly, the service they offered is useless. Each time I have tried to make a reservation I am told the dates I want are unavailable (such as summer time, when you want to take vacation). And the price isn't competitive, the service provide a 50% discount off list price so its about the same as booking online.

This year I did not pay the maintenance fee. They sent it to a collection agent (no reminder or second notice) who threatened to take me to court.
