Privasafe ripoff, never signed up, Ft. Lee New Jersey

I recently checked my phone bill from quest more closely and found that $14.95 has been added to my bill and labeled as ESBI. This charge has been on my bill for the past four months.

Further checking revealed that the billing was from privasafe, a company I have never heard of, let alone having done business with.

I intend to do everything in my power to collect all these back-charges from privasafe, and also somehow start a movement against such practices.

Either, phone companies must stop submitting 3rd party charges, or at least send confirmation to the patron for their approval of such charges. Also, companies like privasafe must be penalized for their fraudulent practices. (Think Enron) I would appreciate any advice or support from those who have been deceived by these rip-offs.
