I was looking for information on my grandfather and noticed that WEB DETECTIVE offered a three day FREE trial. I had to provide a credit card, but was told it would not be charged unless I signed up after the three day period.
I used the service once and found it to be uninformative with costs to find extra information. I typed in names of people I knew were alive and the site told me they had them confirmed DEAD! and I could pay to see the results.
I decided this site was not for me.
Next thing I know my credit card is being charged $9.95 everyday. I found it out after three consecutive charges we added three days in a row.
I have no way of contacting this group to find out what is going on, I have talked with my CC company and all they have is razoreyemedia.com no e-mail or 800 number to contact them.
This is a total ripoff and should not be allowed to continue.

Cancellation within the 3 day trial

AUTHOR: Jessica Philips - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 04, 2007

Jeanne,

The three day trial has free membership is indeed free, but comes with a registration of $9.95 which is stated in the terms. It is to be charged only once, upon registration. In the same agreement, it was said that the three day trial will be maintained, and progressed into a monthly membership, unless the account is cancelled within three days. If it is cancelled within that 3 day span, the charge will be limited to that $9.95. If the cancellation request is sent after that, the client will be charged $9.95, plus the monthly membership fee.

Cancellation can be done by mailing cancel@razoreye.com, or support@razoreye.com. These e-mails can be seen in the webdetective site itself. Once the request is received, the client will receive a notification of that cancellation from our representatives.

The site has many search features which countless clients have benefited from. Some of these elements are limited only up to a certain number of tries, in order to accommodate all, but there are also many links featured to assist with the searches.
