Hello all, Realtor.com has a lot of bad, misleading infomation for the home buyers and the agents paying to advertise.
As a buyer of a mobile home you find a property and trust that a knowledgeable realtor will contat you. Wrong! Mobile homes are totally different than regular homes, townhouses, duplexes, etc. They are a cross between buying a large vehicle and renting. You retain tenancy rights like a rental buy not ownership rights like a home. This is a very specific type of sale that requires education and training NOT offered by agents and realtors that market on realtor.com and the agents you contact. They do not have a clue and will tell you up front. Sometimes they will be rude if I even get a call back.
One agent explained to me that he has never sold a mobile home and has even requested Realtor.com to stop sending people who want a mobile homes to agents who dont sell mobile homes. They said no, we make our system give you all "Home Buyer Leads" meaning they use the mobile home leads to mislead the agents thinking they will get "Home buyer" leads but instead get "Mobile Home Leads" will get X amount of buyer leads and then sign them for a 6 month contract. For example. You will get $100 leads a month if you spend $1,000 for a 6 month contract. What they don't tell you is you will get 50 mobile home buyers and 50 regular home buyers. This is very bad for everyone.

#1 UPDATE Employee
realtor.com® Lead Services
AUTHOR: Alycia - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Monday, July 03, 2017
realtor.com® provides various products and services. When purchasing lead generating products, realtor.com® does not promise to, and cannot, filter leads by property type, price, or status. Any Active, For Sale property can be sent to a user as a lead because the consumer filled out the lead form asking for contact. Mobile Homes are valid For Sale properties and therefore would be a valid lead.
We would be happy to work with any Agent who cannot legally sell Mobile or Manufactured Homes. Please contact myself directly at Alycia@realtor.com® or 480-315-6387.
We look forward to assisting you.
