I am currently in a rental aggreement with RAC and had advised my "ACCT MANAGER" that i would no longer make a PAYMENT to RAC until my computer was replaced with a BRAND NEW one like RAC & MY contract states that its NEW and its used LOL. I also got a bedroom set that is missing parts and i have not got either one of the items replaced. I will not give them another penny until I get the items I have requested. Now there calling me daily and telling me that they will take me to court if I dont pay them and I could also go to jail....

Someone please help I have payed RAC 1207.62 and i feel i should get the computer replaced like i was told by my "ACCT MANAGER" and that he ordered my parts for my bedroom set and i have not gotten either

#5 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Because of the turn over in the company and lack of communication in the stores this happens more than you know.

Call the Market Manager or Home Office.. Employees type folks up for new merchandise with the intention of 'swapping' it for new merchandise which can take months to arrive. Most of the time this is not documented then overlooked. We encountered this often. If you call the Market Manager for that area or even Home Office things happen QUICK!! The store MUST give you those phone numbers when you request them. Do not state who you are or what it is regarding as you have already tried to enlist the stores help and they will likely say whatever they can to try to appease you or keep their rears out of trouble.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Pay up then Sue!

AUTHOR: Dawn - (U.S.A.)

Just like most rental agreements you should pay your rent on time every month, week. This will give you more ammo when you file a lawsuit to get the repairs or replacements done. Small claims should do it! No company wants to be sued. Just be sure to pay what the agreed amount is for your rental first. Then start pestering them again for the repairs you want and are stated in your rental agreement. Keep accurate records of every phone call and in person conversation as well as any written documentation of those conversations. This should help in any lawsuit you file. Hope this helps!
