Resales Buy Owner - Kevin Hanlin High-powered sales rep convinced us that he would be the "best agent ever!!" S. Daytona Beach Florida

During the summer (2007), Kevin Hanlin phoned and said that for an advertising fee of $300 he could absolutely guarantee his being able to sell or rent my timeshare in N. Myrtle Beach, FL. He said he was assigned only 7 properties to handle at one time so he would be able to give me the attention I needed.

He had an answer to every question, was very enthusiastic, and convinced me that it wouldn't be a problem selling or renting - timeshares were in "high demand". He said, "List with me and I will prove to you that I'm the BEST agent ever!!" The fee had to be paid BEFORE I received the contract and he said it would be used to design a web PAGE.

For $300, I received a very SMALL listing among hundreds of others that is impossible to find (I had to literally dig to find it) and a "Don't call me - I'll call you when I hear something" attitude.

He said on several occasions that large events were coming to the Daytona Beach area and that it wouldn't be a problem to find a buyer/renter. Now the reason for lack of sale is that NO ONE they talk to has a credit score above 650 and they have supposedly talked to "hundreds" of people. When I pressured him to get going, he said he would "tell the staff to get busy". He had told me in the beginning that HE would be the person finding the buyers.

I have left several messages at his phone and haven't heard a thing. I know I am getting the run-around, I have been "taken" by this company, the money is lost, and I have been swallowed up in a sea of other small listings. PLEASE warn others. Mr. Hanlin is able to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge if you let him.
