RMS has been calling me, my husband, and my adult son who does not live with us to collect a supposed debt that my Son allegendly owes for a few years. They are  rude , threaten legal action, and spew out all kinds of information that bait us into giving up addresses, phone #s and false soc secutity numbers.Today was the last straw.I get a phone call asking for husband, he is not home can I take msg? He gives me the following info

239-344-9413 is the local # he calls from ,but the number to respond is 844-327-7002 ext325. Mr. Wilcox.

Ok please tell me what Michael I can give the msg to. My husband or my adult son. He gives me a bogus last four SS#. I say no that is neither of their soc last four.He goes off... this address, me- NO.  Well Im send someone to your door.

Me- Please stop calling me. YOu have incorrect info and if you did this is not my personal bill so stop calling ME. HIM - NO im gonna call you every day. and Im gonnna find you. and Im gonna send someone.Me OK ill call my lawyer. Him- fine tell him to call me today.

I call my husband who knows who this man is and tell him. He at least got a name. (even though its probably fake)He calls and the guy start on on him, threats accusing me of being rude to him. I was extremly polite

I call my son. ask him whats up with this, He said I just talked to the man. He does not owe the bill. He tells my son what kind of car he drives and they are gonna come get it. Only the car he describes is MY CAR. My so has never even so much as backed it out of the driveway.

 ME_ What, He has YOUR number?  Now I am furious because if he has my sons number for a supposed debt, WHY is he calling ME? other than to harass.

My son says he has no knowledge of any bill and when ever he does talk to the guy he threatens to send someone to his work. He just says OK send them and hangs up. ANd No one ever shows up . Its b.s.

Bottom line. THere is no debt. THis man is a fraud and has never been able to show proof of any such debt. He does NOT practice FTC consumer  practices.

He talks about a debt that is not mine to me. He does not tell me he is recording me. He is. My husband asked and he said yes. He does not inform me that "this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information  gained can be used against me" Debt collecting 101, I call the 800 # on the website and a man calls back You have the wrong RMS their is another. this is BS their are 15 different RMS's and none of them are the company? Really Theyare all the same people.

I complained to the Federal Trade Commision. They wont get a dime from me, my husband , or my son. But I am worried about the other people they threaten.

They are preying on someone who had debt. and they think that they can just keep calling and one of us will pay.

and what does "Ill send someone mean"? To do what? Break my legs, whack me, are they going to hurt me and my family? they have pics of my car so now they are stalking me. and to me this is a threat. and a scam. I am in fear of my life.
