On multiple occasions Sprint has added minutes to my usage when I have been within 5 minutes or so of going over my plan's daytime usage amount. In each case I have checked my bill on the last day of usage before my plan restarts for the next month, but somehow even if I am a few minutes under my plan's allotted daytime minutes my bill always charges me for going 1 or 2 minutes over once it comes in the mail. This has happened in occasions where I did not use the phone for several days before the plan reset for the new month. Also, I have been charged for "Vision Data Usage" on several occasions even though that is something related to internet usage and I do not have the internet active on my phone!!!

#4 Consumer Comment
Get rid of Sprint

Sprint is the WORST cell carrier ever. They WILL rip you off and make it look like it is your fault. I filed a criminal fraud complaint with the DOJ against them. As the the early termination fee question; Sprint was just ordered to pay 93 million in refunds over that issue. Those fees with be illegal within the next 12 months.

ETFS are not illegal

Maybe you should find out the truth before you just start writing all over this site that early termination fees have been ruled illegal. They are not illegal in California or anywhere else, please get your facts straight.

#2 Consumer Suggestion
Dump them.

You should dump Sprint if they won't fix your charges. You should also dump them if they happen to do it again.
Early termination fees have just been ruled ILLEGAL in California and over 18 million was given back to the consumers who had to pay them. Having a service that you are unhappy with (and for good reason) means that you have the right to end the service.
I am involved in a class action law suit against them that will cover every state. Contact me right away if you want to get quit sprint and get involved (because they wont let you terminate early for any reason besides death..no matter how bad their business practices get).

When you check your minutes, they are accurate to within 24 hours of your call. So whatever you have used the last 24 hours, and the rest of the last day of your billing cycle, is the actual total. It states that in your call. As for the data, did you know browsing ringtones to purchase, is using the internet. Downloading a picture sent to you via text? Internet. Downloading a ringtone? Internet.
