i called the recruiter and talked to him for a little while he was a wonderful guy. he got me in touch with the lady at the company. she then asked me a bunch of questions and i answered truthfully. she sent me an application and i faxed all the pages back to her. she then took 2 weeks to get back to me as i called her every other day to find out like she told me to. then she kept sending me more and more stuff to fax back which cost me almost 5 dollars everytime. she got me a seat in the class and sent me a long list of things i was gonna need so i went out and got them cost me 70 dollars. i was then told i had to have my birth certificate which i didnt have so she told me i had to have it before i could get started. so i went online to get a copy of my birt certificate cost me 40 dollars thinking i was in i spent the money and got it. i then called her back on the 5th, 6th, and 7th days of april because she said that she sent my MVR to the safty guy. She strung me along 4 this long then i called her again on april the 7th and she told me that they would not sign off on my driving record. which they had for about 2 weeks. if i would have been told well we need to get your driving record back before we can say anything i would not have had to spend all that money for nothing. there is also no way to email anyone further up the chain to let them know of my displeasure. im not wining just want to let other people out there know not to spend all the money they want you to spend till u are ready to go.

well douglas one of the reasons stevens probably couldn't hire u at the time was due to your mvr maybe u had to maney accidebts or tickets on it.
i went thrue the same crap back in 2004 and was denied because of my work history. but i tried two years and i was approved for school and a job. if you really want to work for stevens call recruiting and ask to speak to lesli or pamela and see why u where denied employment.
