Straighttalk sells a choice of several plans; 4 G for $40.00 for 60 days, 5 G for $50.00 for 60 days or 7 G for $75.00 for 60 days. They say that they cut back to 2 G if you drop below 3 G before the 60 day period is up.  Here is what keeps happening to me, no matter what plan I buy I get cut off at 30 days.  I check my balance faithfully, find that I still have over 3 G but without warning - 30 days on the dot I get shut off.  When I go to a hot spot or the library and get online and purchase a new plan and forfeit my unused data, I'm good to go for another 30 days. It doesn't matter how much data I purchase. I purchased the maximum this last time, thinking surely I would have enough to carry me through the 60 days, but no, with 4 and a half G still left, I was cut off at thirty days.  I have called customer support numerous times, this morning I was on the phone for over an hour with tech support, he could find no reason for it, saying that I still had plenty of data and there were no warnings. I know the reason. Straighttalk are theives. They are missrepresenting their plans as being for 60 days but only allowing 30 days. They also claim that if you have any remaining data at the end of the 60 days it will go into reserve for you, unless you renew before the 60 days are up and have it added emmediately, then you forfeit the remaing data. But, that is the only way I can keep my service going, see their scam? I don't have a lot of choices for internet out here, but I am sure trying to find another service that works here.
