I had leased a Suzuki for 2 and a 1/2 years and turned it in to another Suzuki dealer. I decided I was interested in purchasing another Suzuki a few days later, I was extremely happy with my previous Suzuki. I went to Suzuki 112 and the salesman Marino seemed very nice and showed me an '08 model that was within my price range.

He had told me that it was a "Program" Vehicle that had been used by the dealership only and that it had ~3000 miles on it. I was also told that if I would have returned my vehicle to THEM instead of another dealer, I would of received a Loyalty discount of $4500 on any Suzuki. I pleaded that I would fax him my paperwork showing that I did in fact Lease a Suzuki and JUST turned it in less than a week ago. He claimed that the boss would not go for it but he would "fight" for me. He came back and told me the good news that they would honor the loyalty program just on my word. I was also told that I could drive away with the car that same exact day.

After contemplating for a few minutes I decided this sounded like a great deal and that I wanted to start the paperwork. When we sat down I was told that I could not get the car till the following week. I put $100 down on the car to start the process. I was so excited I took the keys and went out to see the car one last time before I came back to pick it up. When I turned the key I looked down to notice that the mileage was over 10,000 miles. The car was not a "program" vehicle it was a blatant used car. I was told over and over again that I was getting the deal of a lifetime and that they were already getting in trouble by Suzuki Corporate for giving a car away like that at such a deal. They kept going on about how they were giving me the lowest price possible that they weren't even making a profit on the car.

As soon as I found out the mileage I demanded my money back and told them I no longer want the car, I was misled. They were all of a sudden able to go even lower on the payment despite how much "trouble" they were getting into. When I went home and did some research on this model of car, I noticed that the price they were giving me was almost the price of a brand new '09 with 0 miles. I am still waiting for my refund a week later. I called Suzuki to ask if I went to another dealer would I still be eligible for the Loyalty program and they laughed in my face saying no such program exists, they only have a $1000 dollar rebate. I will never go back there again, they are awful liars. Buyers Beware, Suzuki's are great cars but Suzuki 112 is not the place to buy one.

Concerned Customer,

You know little or nothing about program or "demo" vehicles.  So for you to write up a complaint on the subject is just assanine.  A used car is a vehicle that has been sold and registered in the past.  A program vehicle can have 30,000 miles on it and as long as it wasn't registered or sold it still counts as a demo car.  The rebates the dealership were giving you were already incorparated into the vehicle.  They were just saving you a few extra dollars and you were too ignorant to realize.  Maybe your particular expierence at the dealership was unpleasant, but for you to take the time to write up a report on a topic you know nothing about seems to be a little ignorant to me.  Also, to receive a loyalty rebate the car has to be currently registered, not "turned in" a few days ago.  Rules are rules.  So before you go complaining about things you know nothing about please take the time to look into them before doing so.

You were FANTASTIC!!!!!

Everyone should follow your example!

You walked out when you first saw they were trying to DEFRAUD you! You DID NOT reward them by purchasing the car (Like tons and tons of others do)!

You did exactly the RIGHT thing!
