The Express Group Dishonest mom and pop company, rebate ripoff Wixom Michigan

I purchased a LG Electronics monitor from the local Circuit City store that had a fifty-dollar mail in rebate offer. I mailed in the Rebate forms and all required paperwork to LG Electronics third party rebate center known as "The Express Group". I received confirmation that I did in fact qualify for the rebate and that a check had been mailed out to me.

After a month or so I wrote to "The Express Group" asking where was the check they said was mailed. I received a series of lies, half-truths and blatant contradictions from everyone I spoke to at that company.

I contacted LG Electronics directly, as a rebate is a contractual agreement between the company and the consumer. Even after involving LG directly I still got nothing but outright lies from The Express Group.

After 17 emails to the company, two phone calls to LG Electronics and several months of aggregation I still do not have my rebate check.

I am left to "extract my own pound of flesh" so to say. I wrote to my local newspaper, which ran my Letter to the Editor about The Express Group, filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau in Michigan, and now I going on-line to every place I can find to warn others about this unscrupulous company.

I sure hope my time cost the express group the fifty bucks they owe me. Stay clear of these guys - you'll be sorry if you have to deal with them.
