Time Warner Cable REBATE SCAM Offered Rebate 2 switch services Time Warner Renigs San Diego, California

Time Warner Cable in San Diego (North county) offers Rebate Cards from $50 - $300 to switch services to them. We bundled 3 services, phone, cable and internet service into one bill with Time Warner. We qualified for a $50 rebate credit card. Told to fill out the internet registration rebate form and then asked to mail in the final copy of our current service provider's bill. In our case it was the final bill from ATT. I complied with directions mailing the final bill in and registering for the gift card rebate.

We switched service on March 18, 2011 and it is now 11/15/2011 and nothing. Over the last several months we have called over 5 times, we have gone to the local TW building off faraday to speak with a supervisor. They claim there is no supervisor at that location. The website states that a rebate card should arrive within 8 weeks...we have waited way beyond that. Also when given the option to check on the status of the rebate they show none exists for us. We have tried several times at the personal visit to take a copy of the final bill to TW so it could be processed or redone since they have mishandled it. Not one customer service person willing to take the copy or do anything. We keep being told that they will forward our request to a supervisor who will call within 2 days. NOT once has a supervisor ever called us back. TW is ripping people off. There is no rebate program that is functioning. I see several complains that peps are waiting for rebates like me...filling out all correct forms....and receive NOTHING.

TW has been nothing but a hassle from the very begining of service. Horrible customer service. How can a utility be like this? please stop them someone! This just isn't right
