I purchased home warranty for 3 rental homes because I am in another state and need reliable repair people.  A covered unit, the water softener failed. Total Home Protection sent out a plumber.  They denied the claim because the unit had too much salt.  This has nothing to do with the valves on the top.  I also have pictures of the unit and it actually needs salt added.  They have denied the repair and now I must find a replacement and also find an installer. They leave the customer in charge of the repair.  A Total Home Rip-off. That should be the name of this company.  

I just recently purchased the 5 year plan from them on 2 homes in March 2018.  I will dispute it with my credit card company and get my money back.  I will return to my previous reliable home warranty company which always made prompt repairs. I was ripped off. Lesson learned. Getting my money back and never do business with Total Home Protection again.
