We recently made a reservation, thru Trivago which automatically went into the Travelocity website. The reservation was for Aruba. Their add showed " Low Price", which I took advantage of. Unfortunately, it does not tell you that it is Non Refundable until after they have charged my credit card immediately. They claim that it is the resort, not their charge. I immediately called them and spent over 1 hr with someone in Central America. I also called the hotel in Aruba directly, who had no problem in waving the charge. Since than I have also spoken with someone in India at Travelocity. I have now rec'd 3 e mails from Travelocity that the matter was resolved, however over 10 days later, I still have not rec'd a credit to my credit card acct. Of course, I have disputed it with Amex. Stay clear of Travelocity. I also attempted to contact both the Pres & CEO in Texas. Unable to reach them.
