Universal Administrators Home Warranty Company Ripped us off and did not deliver what they promised Louisville Kentucky

Universal Administrators will make your life hell. They promise they will find a contractor in your area (in our case, Wisconsin), they promise they will reimburse you for covered parts and labor (NOT), they promise they will return your calls or emails (doesn't happen).

We had to find repair people to come out, contact UA to get "authorization", call the repair company back to set up an appointment, and pay them out of pocket when the repairs were complete. After several months of emails and unreturned calls, we reported them to KY BBB (Case #9593558). 

The original charges for repairs to our garage door and Maytag washer were $377.26. They claimed they would only cover $310.10 of the total bills. Six weeks after filing the complaint with the KY BBB did we receive a check for $166.27. When I sent back to BBB that we considered the complaint "unresolved", UA's response was they paid all that they would allow.

We paid $953 for the year to Stanley Warranty (who underwrites with Universal Administrators). We should have saved our money and could have paid for ALL our home repairs for the year!

Stay as far away from Universal Administrators and Stanley Warranty (out of NJ) as you possibly can!!
