 I have been a costumer of Vivint since 2008, now we are moving, we have two years left on a five year contract. The reason we signed th five year contract was we were offered a "Perfered Customer plan" that would waive all home visit costs, we are now told that plan has been cancelled and it wil cost us $99 to have the panel removed from our old house and then we will have to pay another cost (depending on what we need installed) plus our two year contract. To waive that fee we would have to add a year to our contract. We are very unhappy with the service to begin with and don't even want to keep them for the two years. Reason is our smoke detector started beeping, we called Vivint and they told us to go buy a $20 battery and replace it, we did that and the beeping did not stop, they then told us we had an out dated alarm by three years and That means we had an out dated alarm for three years that they did not tell us about. Now we are trying to get a copy of the 2014 contract and we can not even get that from them. They don't know how to email a contract we have talked to 5 people and tried two email addresses and they can not send me my contract. I would never recommend Vivint to anyone . They do nothing for there customer unless it cost the customer more money they do not care if you are a loyal customer
