I sent a Gerville watch with a cracked crystal in to get a free estimate on the repair, they lure you in with free inbound shipping. Nearly a month later they are finally sending the watch back to me. I declined the estimates as they had added all sorts of services and fees to a total of $1,200.00 roughly. They came back and lowered the estimated several times for a total of about $300 in savings from the original estimate but refused to just repair the crystal. The absolutely would not repair the crystal without also replacing gaskets and re-lubing the inner workings of the watch. So finally, I had no choice but to have them ship it back to me. $98.00 in shipping fees to get a the watch back unrepaired.
