Wells Fargo Home Mortgage forclosure and customer service Ottumwa Iowa

We have had our home loan with Wells Fargo since 02/2001 and we were gernerally good abotu making payments for over hte ammount and before htey were due. In 2005 We both lost our jobs causing some issues. We would call wells fargo and let them know what was going on. WE did get behind this i admit. We would get caught up and something else would happen to cause us to have money issues agian.

In july of this year we were served with forclosure notices and imidiatly called wells fargo to find out that the payment plan we were on defaulted becuase htey didnt do something on thier end. We then were workign with them very closly calling in 2-3 times a week to get things fixed. We were told at the end of August we had nothign to worry about and that we will be notified when our new agreement set up. We were still calling in 2-3 times a week. My grandparents gave us the entire amount that we owed to get us current and a head for a few months. Well on sept 17 we were notified by a post it note on our door that our house was sold at the sheriff sale. We then contacted wells fargo and htey told us it was sold and someone purchased it. We then contected the sheriff and he said no one purchsed it and that it was still open. we then contacted the court house and they had no record. The day before this all happened i even called wells fargo and htey said everythign was still suspended and we had nothing to worry about at all. Well about 2 weeks later we get served with a notice to evacuate the house in 5 days!! there was no way we could really do that. after the whole sheriff sale thign we were speaking to one attorney after another. getting otld good things bad things nad lies. wells fargo had 5 different attorneys on their end. Finally we got some answers and to find out when our hosue first went into forclosure over 2 years agoi and we got that cnacelled and stopped it was never stopped or cancelled and wells fargo actually proceded at taht time and we lived in the home since then making payments and everything on a home we didnt even own at all! The last lawyor i spoke to on this matter said we have a case but wells fargo is going to probally chew us up and spit us out real fast. because they dont care about the customer the reps we poke to would contatly lie and tell us one thing and tell us everythign was ok. We didnt even expect this to happen. This biggest part of this mess was the short notice to evacuate! a 5 bedroom 2 story home in 5 days is bs. We got it done tho. WEll anyway Since this whole thing happened lat month we have gotten 4 different letters from collection agencys that represent wells fargo on other accounts that we once had. I had a checking account that was closed with a zero balance when i was 16, with them and they somehow managed to get a truped up charged of $345 on that. We also at one point did have a auto loan but that was even before i was married and that was paid in full when i traded the car off and that notice said we owe $26! we got 2 others and i dont even know what htey are for at all but htey are saying wells fargo is the company. to top this whole ordeal off we should have seen this all coming in the start when we went into the local branch to make a payment for the first time, we gave my husbands name sine we didnt have hte slip yet and the teller looked it up, found his name and took our payment and asked us how we wanted to recieve the title of our truck. She credited our full payment to some guys truck payment in california!!!!!! she didnt even stop to veirfy address or anythign and we kept saying mortgage and house! that should have been a big warning sign but being as young as we were would didnt seem to think anything about it. now we regret using wells fargo for anything at all.
