I have been with West over two years and the first thing I noticed that emplyees there were having a hard time getting all of there pay. Especially if they worked allot of overtime. I worked in the podium and on payday there were dozens of people having the same problems with their hours not being right on their checks. Most of the payroll discrepancies were never resolved. Then it happened to me I noticed that when I go on vacation my paycheck would be wrong every time and it took weeks and months to finally get my pay. I went on vacation in March 2008 and I am still trying to get my money, West owed me for 15 hours finally after 4 weeks they gave the 8-hours and now I am fighting with them to get the other 7. First they try to make you think that you do not what you are talking about but the proof is on the check. So now it has escalated to the OPS manager and my supervisor. I told them that I will file a wage claim with the state if I have too. I have seen West's payroll dept. ripoff many of its employees out of hundreds of dollars. After of months ofwaiting most of the problems never being resolved theemplyees just gave up and some quit. Now after reading about in the ripoff report this is a common practice for West. I would like to see the state or someone come in and do audit on this company and see how many thousands of dollars they have scamed from their employees. They call themselves a multi-billion dollar company and now I see why.
