West Telemarketing enjoys firing people for fun or stupid reasons, has illiterate management, and is too poor to give you your full 40 hrs, ripoff!! San Antonio, Texas

As a newlywed, my husband told me of West, where he worked when he was single. He worked with Earthlink for a couple of months and was moved up to supervisor, to make the long story short, he quit, got married to me, then was re-hired, along with me. We worked for Voom, a now shut-down hi def satellite company.

We always, ALWAYS, got our hours cut, i never got my 40 hours, because there were never enough calls coming in. Our supervisors were idiots, and would fire people left and right for the most stupid things.

My day came when i used my headset to call out, and i was fired on the spot, and was told i could never EVER work at west again, yet there was another idiot who almost got into a fight three TIMES and never got fired, but for some reason my using the phone was a much worse thing to do. i guess.

My pay checks always came out short for some reason, and my husband NEVER got paid for his upsales. EVER!!! to this day west still owes him that money!! my supervisors, boy were most of them completely stupid. Once, a fellow co-worker, complained of his computer slowing down because an anti-virus program was scanning the hard drive, and my supervisor said "na, i dont think your computer even has a hard drive." i felt like shooting myself. so many other things i can say, but no. ill leave it to someone else.
