Western Digital ripoff Fraudulent $50 mail in Rebate for 120 gig Hard Drive Palo AltoLake Forest California

I bought a Western Digital 7200 RPM 120 GB 8MB Hard Drive from Fry's Electronics with a $50 mail in rebate offer about a month ago. Today, I received a post card from their rebate center saying that "Your purchase was not made within the required dates of this rebate". I READ the rebate offer very carefully before I sent it in.

I met all the qualifications. This is clearly an attempt to discourage consumers from redeming their rebate. I have also read other reports from consumers like myself whom share the same grief. I'm not as lucky as the other person that posted their report. I have thrown away the retail box and other packing material. You live and learn. Do not trust rebates from Western Digital. I will never buy another Western Digital product.
