ADT never stopped drawing funds from bank account past cancelation and my moving out of state. Numerous calls were not recorded or their customer service just lies about not getting any calls.
I reached their “customer loyalty” representative (I’ve been using ADT for a while before) and asked if ADT can compensate in any form for stolen money when I was ready to re-activate the system (18 month later). They offered to lower monthly fee. The problem is the equipment still installed is not working and is so outdated that ADT cannot make it work.
Since ADT is not willing to compensate for anything, just interested in drawing from your bank account, the system upgrade is not an option.
Will someone finally start a class action against those crooks? I will help as much as possible to get rid of bad companies in our country

Contract expired, which did not stop ADT from drawing funds for not working service despite multiple notices from me that service does not work. Equipment from ADT is old and technician cannot get it to work, we had three technician visits. Is not that a rip-off? If not, then what is?

You might want to take a few minutes to read the contract you signed with them...

Most have a two year contract with auto renewals for a year after the subsequent period. You have about a thirty day window to cancel or you are renewed for the next 12 months and for 12 months after that if not cancelled in that time window. It's pretty standard on alarm monitoring contracts. The First contract period is to recover costs of equipment and installation.
Be sure to read the contract so you don't miss the next window to cancel.
I had ADT and found them to be a good company. I changed, within the time window, to Vivint as I liked their alarm panel and the use of cell phone service to transmit alarms. They have basically the same provisions in their contract as ADT and most others. We had the Vivint representative leave a copy of the contract they wanted us to sign. We then had them come back after we read it. It was for 42 months with the same annual renewal after the first period. You have to give at least 30 days notice before any contract expiration to cancel without penalty. NEVER sign a contract without reading it and making sure any blanks are filled in before doing so.
Hope you're not to late to cancel before it renews.
"Will someone finally start a class action against those crooks? I will help as much as possible to get rid of bad companies in our country."
What will this "class action" claim they did illegally, specifically? They are NOT a bad company..they just want to hold you to the contract you signed.
They did NOT steal from you.
