Rooms to Go I purchase furniture and 4 years later it started falling apart and they did nothing to fix it. Montgomery Alabama

 I went to rooms to go in November of 2011 to purchase new living room furniture. I found a set I liked and bought it. It was leather so I paid extra for the leather protection. It was not cheap. I got it home and it seemed to hold up pretty good for the first 3 years. About the fourth year I noticed the "leather" was peeling. I contacted them and sent pictures and they told me they would prorate the amount and give me credit for a new couch. I went it only to find out that the amount they gave me was not eve a quarter of what the couch costs, so basically I paid full price for a new couch. The amount they gave me covered taxes and shipping. Within a few days of getting it home, I noticed the recliner was starting to peel as well. I contacted them again, only to be told that there was nothing they could do about it because it was a floor model(which I wasn't told about when I purchased it) In the past 6 months, my chair is now completely bare of "leather" and my loveseat has huge areas where the "leather" has peeled off as well. I contacted them again and after several weeks was told they would give me $135 credit but I had to give them my loveseat. Are you kidding me? First of all $135 will only buy a lamp in that store and I'm not giving you my loveseat unless you replace it. I'm so angry. When you buy furniture you expect it to last more than 4 years and you expect the company to stand by what it sells. I will never step foot Ina Rooms to Go again.
