This is the same as many other reviews - purchased software from Software Empire that would not install, only to find out my computer was "not compatible" with the new software. You can read throughout all of their reviews the same issue with many customers. Was offered a 80% refund, 20% "restocking fee".

 I read their promise on their website home to mean exactly what is says: "Every product we sell is covered by our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee! We know you’ll love us… but just in case you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase, give us a call and we will do everything we can to make it right! If we can’t make it right, we will gladly offer you a full refund of your paid purchase price!". It is a lie.

They do not answer the phones. I was put on a "chat" one day, then the customer agent left the chat. The next day they told me about the compatibility issue. DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. They are not upfront or helpful.
