Our development in Estero, Florida (Tidewater) negotiated a lifetime rate of $65 for Internet. Just last month CenturyLink raised Internet pricing by $10/month.

You cannot speak to a live representative (their website is conveniently not set up for this) and their chat function is crap.

When trying to get them (on their crappy chat function) to assign me my old rate, they offered to switch me to a promotion they were having of $70/month. I asked for a supervisor and was abruptly disconnected from the chat.

Lifetime?

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, May 12, 2023

I seriously doubt that any company would offer a "lifetime" rate, there is likely some sunset clause or way to terminate it.

However, if that is the case and your development negotiated the rate, why are you fighting this individually?  Why are you not going to your development and asking them to fight it?   Perhaps they could also provide you with the exact agreement.
