This complaint is against Coleman Furniture.

On April 2nd 2024 we placed an order # 6313166. First contact made by Coleman Furniture stated 6-7 weeks waiting time. Then two weeks later it went to 8-9 weeks waiting time. As time went by each contact from Coleman Furniture extended the waiting time, to the point where the actual delivery was made September 30th.

Actual delivery was made with furniture already completely assembled. At the time of the delivery, the middle leaf of the dining table was already installed. Once the table was brought inside the house, the person receiving the furniture asked the delivery people to remove the middle leaf. They refused point blank. Only three weeks later when we tried to remove the middle leaf, we understood why the delivery people refused to remove it: underneath there was structural damage to the table glides, damage clearly made by those who assembled the furniture, damage they were trying to hide.

We contacted Coleman Furniture requesting an immediate repair or replacement.

Coleman Furniture's response was: they are acting only as an intermediary between us, their customer, and the manufacturer, and the only thing they were willing to do is contact the manufacturer in our name.

Our purchasing contract was with Coleman Furniture.

Payment for the entire order was collected by Coleman Furniture in April 2024, six months before the actual delivery.
Consequently it is Coleman Furniture who is responsible for the hidden damage, damage done to the furniture during assembly done by their own people.

We request an immediate replacement or a repair to a like-new condition of the dining table.

A chain of emails starting on April 2 until the delivery date of September 30 is available, as are pictures taken of the entire dining set, including detailed pictures of the hidden damage done during the assembly.

Coleman Furniture continues to deny any responsibility, claiming the table was delivered with no damages and stating that because we observed the damage only three weeks after delivery, they have no responsibility in respecting any possible warranty. To reiterate, the damages and the patch work done to the underneath sliders show clearly they have been done during furniture assembly, thus being Coleman Furniture's fault.
