Bought home owners warranty (Builder suggested co) when I purchased a brand new home in 2018 and added appliance warranty option for additional monthly fees.  Have been paying for it every month.  We have not needed to make a claim until, August 16th, I placed a warranty claim on our Washer.  The drum stopped turning.  A week and a half later, the tech w ANTECH APPLIANCES, came out, reached his hand in the washer and jiggled the drum around.  Didn't open any panel, etc. He took a couple of notes and said he would submit the report to 2-10 Home Warranty and will come back out once they authorized the claim.

CRICKETS! 

I called for the next two weeks, every other day, and was told ANTECH APPLICANCES hadn't submitted the report.  I Called ANTECH APPLIANCES, and they said they had submitted report.  Same exact conversation for two weeks!

Finally, I called and was put on hold for over 45 minutes to speak with the appliance specialist!  Again, same response about the 'mystery report'.  I told her to put me on hold and call the tech.  She did and got back on the phone and proceeded to tell me that the tech did a 'thourough inspection' and found the the 'post holding drum was broken in half and screws were torn out', etc.  Amazing that this tech had Bionic vision, because the lazy bum didn't even open ANY PANEL whatsoever!

She then told me b/c the tech said I put an 'uneven load in the washer, it broke the post' and the warranty didn't cover misuse!!

Unbelievably HORRIBLE Company!  COMPLETELY Obvious they want your monthly payment, but as soon as the rubber meets the road, and they have to cover a claim, they cut bait, knowing you'll cancel the warranty and they're off to the next victim!

Don't fall for this sham!
