Apex Solutions, LLC harassing letter, spoke with Lawrence rude not helpful, tried to find out what Home Business Secrets was, how they got my email and credit card information. Las Vegas, Nevada

I received a letter from this company, dated May 6, 2010, claiming that I had signed up for a 14-day trial offer for Home Business Solutions, and since I had not cancelled the account

I was liable for a $139.87 fee. 

The company claims that they had tried to get the money from my Visa, ending XXXX, but it was declined.

As with other reports about this company, the card they claim to be using is one I cancelled in August 2009 due to fraudulent activity.

When I called to tell the company this, and that I had never heard of "Home Business Solutions" they said I would have to get the EXACT date that the card was cancelled and call them back.  My credit card

company can't give me an exact date, and when I called back and asked to speak to the person handling my 'account' I was left on hold for over half an hour before I gave up.

I cannot find ANY information online about this company, other than reports like mine - reports the happen to be noting that Apex is after them for EXACTLY the same amount of money.

Seem strange to you??!?!

I copied this letter from rip-off report because it is the same exact complaint that I have and letter I received. I spoke with a Lawrence at Apex who was rude and not helpful when I tried to find out what company sent them my information. I was asked why I needed to know who the company was because I owed the debt and just needed to pay. I told Lawrence I wanted the name and address so I could report the company to the District Attorney and the BBB, he said he would put a note on my account that it was in dispute. I have no idea who tis is.
