I called att to complain about a charge to my bill for enhanced services from Solo Communications which I had not ordered. Before they would even discuss the situation I had to answer several security questions so they would access my account. When they would finally listen to my complaint, they said there was nothing they could do about if--I would have to contact Solo Communications. I would have to pay the false charges until Solo would apply credits to my account in 1 or 2 billing periods.
When I asked them why they could not handle things with Solo, they said they would not know how to contact them. Since they are collecting money for them, it would stand to reason they would know how to contact them. How else would they collect the fees they surely collect for their billing services.
I had to answer security questions to access my own account. ATT allowed Solo to apply charges to my account without contacting me, so their security concerns apparently apply to information their customers want about their own accounts not to companies that prey on their customers.
The representative I talked to, said that I apparently got Solo services because I gave info to the wrong web site (i.e. my fault?). She then tried to sell me enhanced phone service and cell phone service.

Enhanced Service Billing usually finds it's way on your phone bill by way of clicking "yes" to something on an internet site or if you signed up for something or bought something. In the fine print it will state a charge of $XX.XX will appear on your phone bill. AT&T don't question these charges because it's not their responsibility to do so... So they pass that charge on the that customer.
