B&H Photo Video Prominently Advertising Obsolete Software New York, NY New York

As of 1/6/15, B&H is offering TurboTax for Business 2013 in a Google sponsored search result, rather than the updated 2014 version of the software. Such prominent product placement makes it exceedingly easy to accidentally buy this obsolete version. That's unfortunately what happened to me. All of the other vendors (Staples, Office Depot, etc.) that come up on the Google sponsored search result naturally and responsibly feature the 2014 version, which 99 percent of buyers are no doubt looking for. The B&H customer service manager with whom I spoke countered that some people still need the 2013 version. That may be true, but it's probably 1 percent of buyers. He refused providing me with the 2014 version, and refused a refund. That's surprising, given how B&H's advertising department is so easily misleading people into buying an obsolete product. It's a very irresponsible business practice, in my view.
