My Company has a Merchant Account with www.BluePay.com. We wanted to start accepting Electronic Checks via their ACH Processing Service. Problems came to light when our accounting department noticed that we received a paper statement for our www.BluePay.com Merchant Account but not for our Electronic Check Processing account (ACH Processing Services.)

It turns out that www.BluePay.com had charged us $8000.00 in bad check fees over the coarse of 8 months. If you have a digit wrong in an account number, or the wrong name on a corporate checking account they will charge you $35.00.

We called www.BluePay.com to see if they had the correct address. They informed us that ACH Processing accounts do not get a paper invoice like their Credit Card Processing Merchant Accounts do. ACH Processing accounts get an email statement for some reason.

The problem is that www.BluePay.com does not tell you of the error at the time of sale. Even though the transaction happens in real time, just like Credit Card Processing, www.BluePay.com gives you an approval without knowing if they transaction will be approved or not.

Come to find out, they take 7-10 days to decide if an Electronic Check will process or not. In that time you have supplied the customer with the product or service, only to never see those funds in your account.

We informed www.BluePay.com support that we were not receiving those statements. www.BluePay.com's support people said that they had seen the emails failing but had not bothered to call us to let us know.

www.BluePay.com support told us that there was no way to be notified if a electronic check transaction failed. Inside the www.BluePay.com control panel there is no mention of fees, failed transactions have the word Approved on each one, not Rejected.

So to sum up the deceptive practices of www.BluePay.com
1. They tell you an Electronic Check transaction is approved when it is not.
2. They do not notify you of rejected transactions
3. They have an online control panel that does not show you your account balance or any fees you have incurred.
4. www.BluePay.com merchant accounts get a paper statement, ACH accounts do not.
5. Their support department will not do anything to fix something as simple as a failing email message.
6. They do nothing to correct a recurring billing issue that is clearly out of the norm. When your Merchant Account goes just $100 over what they suspect they put a hold on it, but when they get $7500 more then they should, they let it happen silently and do everything they can to keep the merchant from finding out.

www.Bluepay.com, nothing but hidden fees, bad Merchant Account Practices, and Dishonest ACH / Electronic Check Processing, do not get deceived by BluePay
