This had been a while, and I'm still waiting for buydig.com to give me my $70 rebate. On 1/19/09 I have sent buydig.com an email saying, "I have purchased this printer order # WC8770047. When I buy it on buydig.com, it shows this "final price after rebate:$149.00," so I assume it suppose to mean that I'll pay $149 after the rebate (see attachment). And then after I mailed my $50 and $70 rebates, Epson rejected my $70 rebate saying that I didn't purchased from the Epson Store because that is the requirement of the purchased. Buydig.com didn't say that at the time I purchased this printer. Right now I want my $70 back."
Buydig.com phone service was very busy all the time, so I had to contact them through email. Then on 1/27, buydig.com gave me a call and told me to contact this Simcha person from the Quality Control Department, I don't know why. On 1/28, He told me to resend and attached my invoice and rebate form or any email or letter I received from Epson to him, and so I did. I contacted him on 2/4 for updates, but never got any replies. So on 2/14, I contacted buydig.com again, and on 2/17 I got a call from buydig.com, she told me to contact Simcha... I don't remember when I last contacted Simcha, but I think it was in Februrary, he told me that he's also waiting for reply from Epson, and he said he would let me know when he got news from Epson...
This whole thing is just rediculous, buydig told me to contact Simcha, then Simcha said he got no reply from Epson. Until now, I still got no updates from Simcha or Buydig.
I will never ever buy stuff from buydig.com, and I'll tell people I know to avoid it.
