Dan Heskett Dan Joseph No Credit Check Properties not returning $7500 Escrow Deposit. Don't Do Business with This Man/Company Internet

Dan Heskett - Selah Properties, No Credit Check Properties, Dan Joseph, Mina's Real Estate Management LLC, Harrstone Management Inc - Ripped me off for $7500

Dan uses Craigslist and other internet sites to list ads to buy and sell homes with no credit check, and owner finance.  I responded to one of his ads in July 2010.  He emailed me and stated he had a home I would be interested in Frisco.  I viewed the home and was interested and we reached an agreement.

I was to pay 15k down and assume the current owner's mortgage with a balance of approx. 264k.  First mortgage payment was agreed to be made by me on Oct. 1st 2010.  We agreed to terms and he emailed me a contract and asked that I deposit one half or $7,500 into an account with Chase Bank.  The account was listed as Mina's Real Estate Management LLC, account and routing number 111000614   830735072   I made this deposit on August 10th 2010.

Several days past and I had asked about a move in date, title search, and copy of current mortgage.  He provided a tile copy with looked clean with the exception of about $550 owed to HOA.  No copy of current mortgage was provided.

After about ten days or about Aug. 20th 2010 Dan reached out and advised that home was empty and that I could obtain a cashier's chk for $7500 made out to Harrstone Management Inc. and meet a lady named Lolita who is CEO of Harrstone Management.  Meet with her and give her cashier's chk in exchange for keys and access to home.  I was also told she would do a title transfer.  I told Dan ok but only after I see that this Home mortgage was current.

Another week passed and Dan finally sent me a Mortgage Statement from May 2010 which showed that no payments had been made then nor for the past additional 90 days.  It was determined that the home mortgage was in default and with late fees and etc.  it was over $11,000 behind and either in or close to a foreclosure status.

I told Dan that in order to complete this transaction we would have to apply the remaining $7500 and $4,000 and some change from him to bring mortgage current.  He agreed to this for the next 4 weeks and never did anything.

Fed up after several weeks and going nowhere I asked that my good faith escrow deposit be returned, and that was nearly a month ago, and no response and no action from Dan.

I noticed today Oct. 5th 2010 he has that very home re-listed on his website.  This man is a crook, and con and will take your money.

I will post his actions on every site possible to notify the public of this fraud.  Shame on me for not researching him further.  he already has many complaints that I failed to find prior to making the first deposit of $7500.
