If you appreciate the power of words and how someone can turn them against you then you'll love this skin care company!

Most membership skin care products openly state they are a memebership and that by agreeing, you are entering into a monthly shipment arrangement until you cancel etc. 

Not Encate Skin Care. They dupe you by not alerting you to any time constraints or membership agreement and most people only find out AFTER their credit cards have been charged the exhorbiant fees of more than 190. for 2 one ounce products.

How do they get away with this? By stating in their 'Terms & Agreement' at the bottom of their webpage (several layers deep! not even on the main page!) that by the mere act of sending in the order for the trial offer, you are agreeing to all their terms and policies (way too many to list and so ludicrous that if you did ever read them, you would never, ever ageree to them.) Again, if this were a legit company, you would have a little check box at the bottom of the order form saying " that by checking this, you are agreeing...." you know the drill.

I just spent 2 hours of my life, between trying to call the erroneous number on my credit card statement by the charges to digging up my web browser history to find the above mentioned small print, to calling, not once but 3 times before finally speaking to someone who kept trying to negotiate a percentage of the charges ("I'll refund you 30%"......Krikes! Do people ever say 'yes'?!) I held strong and fought for a full refund. We'll see if they follow thru. 

They mailed the products by USPS so there is another level of fraud going on as the ooriginal packing slip intentionally was devoid of ANY information regarding any time constraints or mention of the "membership" and monthly fees that they say you agreed to when you submitted an order for a trial offer ("You just pay the shipping and handling!"....those are now key RUN FOR THE HILLS words!

I am posting this in hopes that enough people who fall victim to the same deception will take a stand and this company will get their act together.
