I was a Sales Rep with Evans glass, Id like to know if there is anyone trying to recoup salary from Evans. I started as a canvasser working 10+ hours a day and paid for 8. Did it for a while, but then with the promise of more money, I became a Sales rep that was completely unpaid. After about $55,000 in sales and not getting anything of it for coming months, I could no longer afford the venture. I quit, only to realize, their not going to pay me a dime. I kept all of my paperwork for the sales I was on, They owe me a couple thousand dollars of pay.

Anyway, there is a point here

Id like to know if anyone is taking legal action against the company, or if I am stuck hiring a personal lawyer?

Evan's has made ammends, they are working on their chain of command policies, so this won't happen in the future. They have paid me my due commissions as of today.

As a side note, you will definately not find a better quality window for the northwest.

I have waited a long time to finally have some head honchos see my report. They responded this morning, leaving his personal e-mail and a phone number to the main office. This was sent to him the morning of April 12th, 2008:

Mr. Flath,

Thank you for rebutting my comment on rip-off reports.

about 9 months ago, I have contacted you numerous times, and left 5 voice messages on your personal in-box regarding my unpaid claims. I also left a message with the secretary at the time and was told she would deliver it right to you. i contacted 2 homeowners that purchased windows through me, and both of them told me that had in fact purchased and it was their personal belief that I deserve commissions.

Too much time has gone by to really 'prove' that commissions are owed. I will commend your company for it's very thorough structure, to maximize profits for key individuals. However, you do this at the cost of the entry level employees. With your rules and regulations always changing. I can easily write a novel on countless ways that I was screwed. for a period of 2 1/2 months I drove approximately 8,000 miles, and sold windows on 8 occasions. 5 of which I can guarantee, and lawfully prove they sold. This is not much, which I will further explain that my manager himself had said that he will only give me the crappiest leads that no-one wants. Even a 5% turnover on the most extreme leads was pretty good.

By the way, I am ONLY concerned about my time as a salesman, not counting my sales I generated as a successful canvasser. I was compensated a generous 15.50, with absolutely no paid commissions.

For my efforts, a little over 500 man-hours, over a thousand dollars in gas (I'm not counting repairs) was spent spreading a good name for your company, I was compensated exactly $750.00.

I have been struggling to get out of the debt me and my family fell into ever since.

Do not throw legalities at me. Don't say that if another salesman 'saves' a failing sale, I lose it. I paid very close attention to the rebuttals my manger and senior salesman used as excuses not to provide a living for us. And as long as I live, when windows gets on subject, i will tell every person I come across, about what your company put me through.

If fixing your company's name is what your after, alright, I can deal with that. Send me a check for minimum wage. I have kept all my documentation, and can easily prove how many hours I spent on the job.

Daniel
