This is what happened I purchased a product from Amazon.com during the purchase the internet went down as sometimes they do. I got the page back up and running the cart purchase showed no purchase for what I checked before the system went down,so I re-purchased the items at the end of the sale after entering my information and purchasing the first purchase and the new purchase ended up on the bill so at this point I have 2 of the same like order costing me 758.00 and some change. I quickly tried to cancel the purchases because it was 1 or 2 am I could not because it takes a day or so to hit the system per the information on-line. The next day I called Amazon to stop the purchase and was told they are not the people I bought from so I would need to file a report in righting with the company on-line thru their system I did.

On 7/4/2012 the holiday I had two purchases come thru totaling less then 15.00 and was charger 34.97 for each totaling 69.94. the canceled purchases were removed that never charged to my bank. next I called the bank back explained the double purchase problem explain what should come thru and what shouls not I was told to get a letter from the merchant stating it was their mistake I contacted the Amazon and they understood said they would send the letter but sent me their form to fill out to look at my account to see if i was overdrawn during the purchase period. I explained again i was not period the hold was frozen by the bank so anything coming thru would become a overdraft status. the bank could have fixed this problem simple by refunding my account the 69.97 that was never overdrawn because they would not release a mistake so am paying the price not one time but 3 times. I advised them once this problem is resolved I will be closing my account of this 69.97 problem you would not fix. I will also write their Corporate Office this disrespect received by how they do business. The bank takes a no hands on approach but will charge you for a mistake they can see this is company greed at it finest.
