I purchased a new GE dishwasher from a major appliance center in Northern New Jersey about 2.5 years ago. Firstly, the dishwasher was never up to par with how it washed dishes. Secondly, it started making aweful grunting noises about a week ago.

I called for service (still under warantee) on it and the people with whom I spoke sounded great. It wasn't until this past Saturday (Thanksgiving weekend) that I started my disappointment with GE.

I cut my vacation short to come home to get my dishwasher repaired, just to find out that an hour before the tech. was due to be here, I got a phone call from GE saying that the appointment was not able to be kept because they did not have a technician to work on it, and they would need to reschedule.

I called them this morning, spoke with their Customer Relations department who assured me that I would be able to have a technician out to my house tonight by 4pm.

It is now 7pm and I just got off the phone with GE. They said that the technician got tied up around 3:00 pm and he doesn't work past 5:00 pm so he will not be coming tonight.

The manager, Vonda in the Pheonix office told me that there is nothing that she can do for me about this, and that she was going to disconnect the call.

This is probably the WORST Customer Service (if you even want to call it "Service" since there hasn't been any) that I have ever dealt with. It is pretty evident that GE only wants your money and doesn't care about you after they RIP YOU OFF!
