KIS Golf Chapter 11 Bankrupcy Ashland City Tennessee

My wife, daughter, And I were somewhat happy with our memberships at KIS. I peronally did suffer from some buyer's remorse. I sucked it up and if the opportunity arose I would call and schedule a lesson. A friend approached me the other day and asked if I had played any golf lately. I responded, no, that I had been to busy and that the weather had not been favorable. He told me at that point that KIS had "gone under". I spoke to a good friend with ties to the golf course and had him investigate for me. He called me yesterday and advised that KIS had "gone under" and that Sycamore Valley Golf Couse was now in control by the original owners. This morning, I searched the internet and confirmed this info for myself. I would like to know what other members are planning on doing, now that this news is out. I plan on contacting a lawyer as far as my situation is concerned. I will have to agree with the statements made by others with regard to high pressure sales tactics. But, I did sign the contract. But with KIS filing for bankrupcy, this opens up another can of worms. We defered payment on our membership for 10 months. At this point in time I have not made the first payment and wondering what is going to happen from here. I don't have any problem with Sycamore Valley Golf. I just hope that this situation does not deter people from using the facility. I am very disturbed that KIS let this situation s****.> Acpd22
